This space is where I share what I’m working on, the ideas behind each scent, and what I’m learning as I build Hallowed Roots one batch at a time.
The craft
Candle-making started as something simple and hands-on for me — melting wax at my kitchen table, testing fragrances, figuring things out as I went. Over time, it turned into something bigger.
Every candle is still made in small batches using eco-conscious wax and clean fragrance oils. I care a lot about how things are made and what goes into them, so I keep the process slow and intentional.
Nothing mass produced. Nothing rushed.
Behind the scenes
Here I’ll share behind-the-scenes looks at new scents, packaging experiments, market days, and the everyday reality of running a small handmade business.
It’s not fancy — just real life and a lot of trial, error, and late nights.
The scents
Most of my fragrances are inspired by places and moods I love — foggy woods, old books, worn flannel, late nights, quiet mornings.
Scents that feel grounding, cozy, and a little nostalgic.
